What are binaural beats?

Binaural beats are a form of auditory illusion in which two slightly different tones are played in each ear to create a third tone in the brain - called a "binaural beat". These beats are often used for their relaxing or concentration-enhancing effects.

The uses of binaural music can be varied, from promoting relaxation and meditation to increasing concentration and improving sleep. It is believed that binaural beats can stimulate the brain to produce certain frequencies associated with different mental states, such as theta waves for relaxation or alpha waves for focus.
